With an operating budget approaching $500 million, we are committed to ensuring the responsible stewardship of public funds to provide high-quality educational experiences across our schools and programs.

What We Do
Our team oversees a wide range of financial operations, including:
- Budget Development and Management: Planning, preparing, and monitoring the district’s annual operating budget to align resources with academic priorities.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate financial statements, audits, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Payroll Services: Processing payroll for over 4,500 employees accurately and on time.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing all payments to vendors and receipt of funds from various sources.
- Purchasing and Procurement: Supporting schools and departments in acquiring goods and services efficiently and in accordance with procurement policies.
- Grant and Fund Management: Overseeing federal, state, and local grant allocations to ensure compliance and maximize impact.
- Capital Project Financing: Supporting long-term infrastructure planning and funding for new construction and major renovations.
