About the Office
The Director of Schools serves as the chief executive officer of the district, working in collaboration with the Board of Education to implement policies, manage resources, and drive student-centered innovation. This office is responsible for:
- Setting the district’s educational vision and strategic goals
- Overseeing daily operations across all departments and schools
- Leading initiatives that improve student achievement and close opportunity gaps
- Ensuring responsible stewardship of public funds
- Building strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners
- Representing the district in local, state, and national education matters
