Sumner County has a web-based IEP program that is required from teachers to use when writing IEPs for children with disabilities. EasyIEP was implemented in August 2004 and is just one partof the Statewide Student Management System (SSMS) provided by the state of Tennessee. All EasyIEP information is confidential. The server uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all information as it flows across the Internet. To view documents in EasyIEP, Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on the computer.
