Sumner County

  • Founded in 1786
  • Includes all or part of eight incorporated cities
  • Covers 530 Square Miles
  • Located 45 minutes north of Nashville, stretching from that city's northern border to the Kentucky  state line
  • Population of 145,009 according to 2005 U.S. Census Estimate
  • Population has grown at twice the state rate since 2000
