The Sumner County school district is made up of 42 unique schools all across the county, from Westmoreland to Hendersonville, Gallatin to Portland, and everywhere in between.  There are 8 high schools, 9 middle schools, 23 elementary schools, a K-12 magnet school, a night high school, and an alternative school.
