Welcome to the Sumner County Adult Education Program's website! We invite you to explore our website and links to discover the many opportunities and FREE services that our program offers. The Sumner County Adult Education Program is a proud recipient of the Tennessee Qualilty Award at the Interest Level. The program is currently working toward earning the second of the state's three quality award levels. 

Mission / Vision

The mission of the Sumner County Adult Education Program is to provide free educational services to citizens who did not graduate from high school. The program also provides the opportunity for students to become lifelong learners, to achieve economic security, to become better citizens and parents, and to find a greater sense of self-worth.

Class Information

GED/ESOL/Workplace/Basic Education classes
The program offers day and evening classes at various times and locations throughout the county for all of the above.

GED test fee paid by Adult Education if certain criteria are met.  Please call 451-5418 for details.
