The Sumner County Adult Education Program is a proud recipient of the Tennessee Qualilty Award at the Interest Level. The program is currently working toward earning the second of the state's three quality award levels.
Mission / VisionThe mission of the Sumner County Adult Education Program is to provide free educational services to citizens who did not graduate from high school. The program also provides the opportunity for students to become lifelong learners, to achieve economic security, to become better citizens and parents, and to find a greater sense of self-worth. - English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Workforce skills
- Distance Education
- Individualized/Small group tutoring
- Computer Classes
- Basic Education classes
Class Schedule
GED/ESOL/Workplace/Basic Education classes The program offers day and evening classes at various times and locations throughout the county for all of the above. The Adult Education Program will pay the $65.00 GED Test Fee for Dislocated Workers ONLY. Please call 451-5418 for details.
