Presenters' Instructions and Forms for SchoolStation |
Presenters receive in-service credit for preparation time that matches the length of their presentation. For instance, for presenting a three hour session, credit will be given in the amount of three hours for preparation plus three hours for attendance. "Please be sure to indicate your request for presenter credit on either the Principal's Form for School-Based Professional Development" or the "General Session Form for Professional Development."
The "Proposal for General Session Form" is used to submit professional development session ideas for consideration to the Professional Development committee. Any teacher, administrator, or supervisor who is interested in offering a session district-wide should submit a "Proposal for General Session Form" to the Teacher Center. This form and any accompanying documentation must be received by the Teacher Center at least sixty (60) days prior to the proposed session event. Once approved, the session will be posted to SchoolStation.
Once all the information is posted, the presenter will receive an email with an ID number. This gives the presenter the opportunity to monitor registration, email participants, and post handouts to the SchoolStation site.
On the SchoolStation login page, click the link Professional Development Trainer/Presenter Access. Put in the session ID number and the presenter's complete connect-tn email address.
